Some Chicago-North Romance Writers members have published dozens of books. Some of us have won awards or made it to the best-seller lists. Some of us have yet to be published. We write in all of the romance subgenres: Young Adult. Historical. Contemporary. Inspirational/Spiritual. Paranormal/SciFi. Erotic. Romantic Suspense. Whether you’ve got a string of hits behind you or you’re still struggling with Page 2 of your first manuscript, you’re welcome to join us!
Our mission is to support our members on their romance writing journeys and in their publishing careers. We accomplish this through craft and industry programs and through manuscript critiques. We hope you will find these offerings valuable in advancing your career and improving your writing skills.

How to Join
You can join Chicago-North Romance Writers online and pay via PayPal, or print out and mail the completed application with a check. NOTE: You no longer have to be a member of Romance Writers of America to join Chicago-North.
Annual membership in Chicago-North Romance Writers costs $35. Renewals are due one year from the date of payment. A one-month grace period will be extended to members who may forget to renew their dues. After you sign up, you will receive an invitation to join our private Facebook group and email list.
